Foals estrena ‘Wake Me Up’, la primera canción de su nuevo disco

Pareciera que estamos de buena suerte en cuanto regresos musicales se trata, pues después de un tiempo de no lanzar material nuevo, Foals vuelve con “Wake Me Up”, el primer sencillo de su próximo álbum.

A pesar de que recientemente nos sorprendieron con la salida de su tecladista Edwin Congreave tras más de 15 años de formar parte de la banda, Foals presenta una nueva era que incluye un sonido alegre, bailable, con tintes funky y su identificable vibra, ideal para moverse como si estuvieras en un festival.

“Wake Me Up” es el primer corte del nuevo disco de la banda liderada por Yannis Phillipakkis, del cual, aunque todavía no se conocen mayores detalles como el título o fecha de lanzamiento, promete entregarnos inolvidables temas.

La canción está acompañada con un colorido video musical que refleja la energía de la agrupación originaria de Oxford, Reino Unido; la letra de "Wake Me Up" incluye varios guiños a abrir los ojos para darle la bienvenida a cosas positivas.

Este álbum será sucesor de “Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost” del 2019, disco doble que incluyó canciones como “Exits”, “Neptune” o “Sunday” y que Foals presentó en vivo en un espectacular concierto en el Pepsi Center de la Ciudad de México.
